Team Builds
Group Builds
The Habitat Team Build Challenge: An innovative team-building program for groups.
Build homes, hope, team spirit and social responsibility.
Whether your staff or group have never swung a hammer or are already skilled in the construction field, they can all be part of the Habitat Team Build Challenge.
Spending a day on a Habitat build is a great way for businesses, corporate groups and organizations to help make the dream of home ownership a reality for local families in need. What better way to learn the value of team building, co-operation and leadership skills than by working with your co-workers and peers on a Habitat build.
By participating in a team build, you can make a huge difference in the lives of families in need of a hand up – not a hand out – while strengthening bonds and learning new skills.
Corporate team build days allow for approximately 6-8 employees or clients to team up to make a positive, hands-on contribution to the community.
We are welcoming all businesses, schools, faith groups and non-profit organizations. By helping out, your company/organization name will be posted on our website. All volunteers will be invited to the Dedication Ceremony, where we hand over the keys to our excited Partner Family, as well as receiving an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Night.
To learn more about how your group can get involved, please contact 306-782-8435.

Retiree Group
Retired volunteers play an important role in any Habitat build. Most retirees are available during the week, and their skills and experience are critical to our organization. Whether in our offices, on the build sites, organizing fundraising initiatives or by promoting our organization through speaking engagements - we welcome and appreciate our retired volunteers!
No experience is necessary. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, while at the same time contributing to a great cause.
Youth Group
Volunteering at Habitat for Homanity Yorkton is a great way to contribute to the community service hours required by school boards for graduation.
Guidelines for Minors on the Worksite:
